Although I cannot in good conscience take all the credit for Elliot's giving nature. His daddy is also very much a positive influence, and his grandma, uncles and sister play a big role too, even though they live far away. But in the end, I really think it's the spirit inside the boy that blesses us. We are the ones who learn from the young.

I agree with you about the political realm that ignores the public. He seems to be such a giving and caring little boy, which is so lovely to see (yes, I'm talking about the doughnut giveaway here!), but he is giving in so many ways, as we have seen from his past endeavours with the homeless. Lovely photos today. I can quite see why you are so angry though. As you say, there seems to be plenty of nature available ON THE OUTSIDE where you live,so taking away the library facility just makes no sense whatsoever. I would say to try to lobby the right people about their decision, but I'm afraid I've just got so cynical with politicians in general. They just don't seem to take any notice of the general public whatsoever. I pray that this decision might still be overturned, as I'm sure there are lots of people that are going to be so disappointed with the library's closure :(Southhamsdarlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12285980805569582676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3260474823266276024.post-72527270420915050172012-10-12T12:22:26.152-04:002012-10-12T12:22:26.152-04:00Hi Angie, it really is a shame and I appreciate yo...Hi Angie, it really is a shame and I appreciate your supportive comment! I had a neighborhood bookmobile when I was eight that opened the world of books to me. I loved to go there. You should write a form of this post as a letter to your newspaper's editor.
