I loved your descriptions of camping and your son playing with the other kids. Also the line about feeling like a crayon in an overstuffed box was good. Hope your writing class goes well.Angie Vikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03392363949019834052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3260474823266276024.post-11350568703539869562011-08-15T01:29:04.640-04:002011-08-15T01:29:04.640-04:00I come to you from Sush, and I've enjoyed what...I come to you from Sush, and I've enjoyed what I read - it's an inspiration and who doesn't need something that picks you up whenever you read it? For that reason I've passed on a blog award to you (given to me by Sush) and you can read about it on my blog, where I've linked it to your lovely blog. Thanks for the good reading.karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16313237142656662148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3260474823266276024.post-31808736324057496552011-08-15T00:14:47.515-04:002011-08-15T00:14:47.515-04:00It's interesting, isn't it, how easy it is...It's interesting, isn't it, how easy it is to get sidetracked with things that aren't significant at all, and yet we make such a big deal about them. I enjoyed this post - it reminded me to not sweat the small stuff. Your class at the Y sounds amazing. I'll look forward to hearing more about it.karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16313237142656662148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3260474823266276024.post-50368596614095854812011-08-14T15:36:53.794-04:002011-08-14T15:36:53.794-04:00That was quite a camping trip, we used to love cam...That was quite a camping trip, we used to love camping with the girls when they were little one of the most fun types of holiday and adventurous. I have never been camping so I don't know how I would react to being in the wilderness during a thunder storm. Oh, that poor little child though. That must have been SO Painful. Can't believe that someone was moaning about a lost flip flop after hearing the child crying like that! It certainly puts things into perspective, doesn't it? Your new workshop looks as if it will be very good my friend.Southhamsdarlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12285980805569582676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3260474823266276024.post-48322793521299599782011-08-14T09:16:15.139-04:002011-08-14T09:16:15.139-04:00I saw your comment on Sush's blog and decided ...I saw your comment on Sush's blog and decided to hop over for a minute. It's sad when some people don't do as you have done and take note of all that is going on around them and use it to grow. Imagine complaining over a flip flop after a night of hearing a child's painful wails. Sad for them, isn't it?
I have to say I wish I was the right age for your class...perhaps you can swing one for some oldies? I wish my grandkids lived close enough to participate. You bring so much fun and imagination I know those kids are going to be in for a treat!

It sounds like you have turned your weekend into a joyful bright light and are shining it bright and strong; a beacon leading to joy.

Hugs~Sushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00098871743806383324noreply@blogger.com
