Happy WW to you, dear Jenny! You'll have to forgive me but I can't i.d. that creature. I looked in the right column of the blog and don't see anybody or anything that looks similar. Can't be Annie. Can't be Ozzie. Can't be Elliot. Can't be Emily. Who is it?
This enormous cat is Hobbes. He was the most loving creature and my best friend when I was a teen. When I would relax with a book, he was right there by my side. He would follow me everywhere. Once he was hit by a car but survived and I asked the vet to please not put him down. I was sure that I could nurse him back to health even with a broken pelvis. After months of my attention, he recovered! I loved him more than words can say.
Bless his heart, Jenny, and bless your heart for giving him all your best and nursing him back to health. I often think about animals that were special to me during childhood. I miss them.

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart Hobbes must have been. I am a lover of animals, and I well know the devotion you still feel, even to this day, to him.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a very contented fellow. I love how animals calm being calm and peace to our souls just by being who they are.
Thank you for sharing him with us today- brought a real smile to my face!
