Today was a big day for Elliot. He was interviewed by local journalist Tony Smith from WFMY News 2 in Greensboro for his mission to help people experiencing homelessness in our city.
Simply wonderful!!! I am so proud of Elliot, and like Karen, kids like Elliot let me know this world is going to be in very caring hands. He wasn't nervous at all, was he? Please tell him how proud we all are of him, and that I know he's going to have even more great ideas for helping others in the future.
Hi Shelly, Yes, he was nervous at first, but after a little while he settled down. It was totally unexpected. We were on our way out and the news van pulled in. What a big day!
That's so awesome, Jenny! You must be so proud of him. Heck, I'M proud of him! He gives me hope for our future, and you did quite well on camera too.
