Our Friend Tom

Our friend and neighbor Tom has passed away this week.  I'll return when the waves of my emotions have settled down enough to write again.

These are my words for the week:  gratitude, love, generosity, garden, bluegrass, WWII, kindness, sons, peach blossoms, sharing, blacksmith, giant pink dalhias, noisy rototiller, sweat, straw hat, banjo, conversation, fence.

  1. Oh no, Jenny! I'm so sorry to learn that you are dealing with another loss. Death, they say, is the ultimate inconvenience. There's never a good time. I can tell by your list of adjectives that Tom was an interesting man and a wonderful neighbor. You have my sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you, dear friend.

  2. Jenny, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Especially when it's someone you've known in the close proximity you've known Tom, it just isn't easy. You all and his family are in my prayers. I know what en enrichment you and your family must have been to him. There's much life in your word list for the week.

  3. Dear Jenny! I am so sorry for your loss. I clearly recall the lovely post you did when you introduced him to us and told us about his cancer. May his soul rest peacefully. He was a good man and is now reunited with the love of his life. Big hug xoxo

  5. Dearest Jenny,
I was just wondering how Tom was doing. I'm so sorry for your loss. It is always a hard time when we loose those we love and hold dear. Time will lessen the pain and enrich your love and memories of all you hold dear. Love to you and all your family as you come close in love and prayer for Tom.

    Hugs
