Independence Day

We were up bright and early yesterday for Greensboro's Independence Day parade.   Richard and I were pleasantly surprised to discover that this event was relaxing and fun.
Uncle Sam leads
Elliot made the little blue felt hat on his Zebra.
Greensboro has a rich Revolutionary heritage and is named after General Nathanial Greene.
I love Richard more every day for the kind of Dad he is.  The loving kind.

  2. I love all your pictures and it's good to know you enjoyed yourselves at the parade. Heat and humidity make us all a bit cantankerous. You were fortunate a good storm set things right again. When is THE BIRTHDAY? I would like to send Elliot a Jacquie Lawson ecard. Could you let me have an email address, please.

  3. All in all I hope you and yours enjoyed a great 4th holiday. Temps have finally begun to rise here in the Pacific Northwest, but not near what you all are experiencing back east. I have a fond appreciation for those who don the costumes and brave the temps to provide celebrations for everyone, especially our children. Nice read as always and your photogs are super! Stay cool.

  6. Hi, Orchid from Japan again!!!
oh, I'm so happy for your precious Elliot started learning Japanese. I am pretty sure it is far more difficult for foreigners to learn Japanese than we learn English. Yes as you know, having 3 types of characters (hiragana, katakana, kanji) might be a bit unique for a language.
Good Luck!!!! I know you are SPECIALIST, he'll learn fast stating with his age♪♪♪

I wonder if Japanese animations' video in your country has bilingual system with Japanese. Haha, I always enjoy this system, don't know if it works for kids.

Sending you and your son lots of LOVE!!!
